Tanmen タンメン is a type of ramen. Tanmen usually has a lot of stir-fried vegetables in it.
This shop’s Mouko Tanmen 蒙古タンメン has a miso and garlic flavor, and it is topped with spicy Mabo-tofu 麻婆豆腐 which turns the ramen soup into a thick stew.
This ramen was so spicy for me that I could felt the sweat running down my head and face. I got a runny nose while eating it. However, it was very tasty.
They also offer another kind of ramen which is twice spicier than the one I had. It has a strong red color and I have never tried it.
If I eat it, I don’t think I will be able to take its spiciness. I’ll spend the next day on the toilet with my ass on fire. 😡
