In Japan, cherry blossoms is called Sakura 桜 (さくら). We eat salted / pickled cherry blossoms and use them as decorations for food and drinks.

- Kanto Style (Eastern Japan Style)
- Kansai Style (Western Japan Style)
This one is Kansai style sakura-mochi.
It is wrapped with a salted cherry leaf which is edible. However, some people don't eat this leaf.
